Set up NordVPN quickly and safely on your devices. Follow the steps below for each platform, plus tips for logging in, connecting, and avoiding risky downloads.
Windows
- Go to the official website and download the Windows installer
- Run the installer and follow the prompts
- Open the app, log in, and click Quick Connect (uses the best server for you)
- For fastest speeds, use the NordLynx protocol (Settings > VPN protocol)
macOS
- Download the macOS app from the official site or Mac App Store
- Install, open, and sign in
- Use Quick Connect or choose a country/server from the map
iPhone and iPad (iOS)
- Install NordVPN from the App Store
- Open, sign in, and allow VPN permissions
- Tap Quick Connect or pick a location
Android phones and tablets
- Install NordVPN from Google Play
- Sign in, allow VPN permissions
- Tap Quick Connect for the best server
